Since 2004, BABBLE has been holding this event (Leap Beer during leap years and Brew Off in non leap years). Leap Beer is also part of the Midwest Homebrewer of the Year circuit. Over the years the competetion has grown from a small event arounf 100 entries to a significant event with over 350 entries. We receive entries from around the country and have had internaltional entries. In large part, the growth can be attributed to the volunteers like you who help the competetion run and provide quality feedback to the participants. Once again we are expecting entries in the 350-400 range and can use you help. The event will be held on the final Saturday of February, the 25th. Judging will take place at the Ram Restaurant and Brewery in Wheeling, IL. Judging will start at 9:00 am. Volunteers should show up by 8:30 to get checked in.
