First, HUGE thanks to Eric B. for organizing all of
this!
Second, Byggvir's (the contest at the Minnesota Renaissance
Festival) is accepting entries and judges/stewards online from August
1-23rd. The website will be up and running by then (Wilbur is currently in
Iowa on a bike trip). But Eric is correct, please bring your entries to
the meeting with the paperwork filled out. Two bottles, $5, see attached
list for the categories. We are highly encouraging people to take a stab
at brewing historic styles. There will be medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
places. Best of Show, and first and second runner up will get pairs of
very nice handmade mugs. Those who sign up to help out to
judge/steward/
Also, just a reminder that Jeff and Cathie Williamson
have arranged for us to have a ROAST PIG at the meeting. Please bring
something potluck to share. Please bring a chair, in case it is nice
enough to take the feast outside!
Meeting is from 1-4 pm. See
you there!
