DETAILS:

Texas singer/songwriter Eric Taylor is a sage musician, a lyrical genius and a master guitar player.  Nanci Griffith, who has recorded several of Eric’s songs, calls him “the William Faulkner of songwriting”, and Lyle Lovett, for whom he wrote “Fat Babies”, compares Taylor’s narrative voice to that of Bruce Springsteen.  He had me with the title cut on his 2005 release “Great Divide.”  The combination of Eric’s evocative lyrics, tasteful guitar and growly gravelly voice
