I know there have been some questions brewing with regards to honey purchases during Mead Day (...Aug 4th...), so I'm sending an email to make some clarifications.

I called Russ Johnson, the bee-man, this morning to check his inventory. He will be harvesting close to 1000# of honey this weekend, so there will be plenty to go around. He has basswood and clover varietals. The cost of the honey is $2.25/# if you bring your own container, otherwise you will be charged for a bucket/jug/etc.

Could someone please pass this on to the other boards and forums.
