DETAILS:
Rod Picott was a great surprise to us. Rod sent us his CD, and on listening
to him, we knew we had to book him for our house concert series. Rod's
gravelly baritone draws instant attention to his thoughtful and evocative
lyrics, and his guitar provides just the right number of notes to provide
accompaniment.
Rod grew up in Berwick, Maine, with influences so diverse as John Philip
Sousa, Ray Charles, The Clash and Patti Smith. In 1994 Rod moved to
Nashville, where he soon started a showcase called Rod Picott's Fireside
Whiskey Hour. Gotta love it.
Please join us for a great night of music with Rod Picott on Saturday, May
12, 2007 starting at 8pm.
