I’ve done this with boy scout troops and it really isn’t hard or time consuming as long as you have enough volunteers

Although for the scouts it was only twice a year (once before winter, once after winter)

Rick – any idea where the stretch might be located?

Count me in

Subject: Club Question

OK Folks,  Rick here on the day before the great Chili Cookoff.  Well I think it is the day before.

Anyhow, I have a simple question for the club and if I receive enough “yes votes” I will continue.

How many folks would be willing to assist three times per year to help clean up litter from a two mile stretch of roadway?  In return, the state erects a fancy sign advertising homebrewing.  The minimum commitment is two years.

I think our club would need 15-20 confirmed volunteers willing to walk around, clean up stuff, and why not have a beer?

There you go.  Let me know if I should find out more.
