Hey all -
I have a BJCP Beer and Mead exam scheduled for Minneapolis on Sunday, Sept
16 - do I have any takers? I need to field six people for each exam to make
them go.
For the Beer exam, you either need to be an existing BJCP judge (cost $15),
or pass the online exam (cost $40) to qualify.

For the Mead exam, everyone must pass the online exam. Cost for the tasting
exam is $15 for existing BJCP judges, $40 for new mead-only judges.

To reserve your seat, send a non-refundable check for the appropriate
amount, made out to me. Please put which test you're signing up for in the
memo section.

(If I have to cancel the exam(s) - then I will refund your payment.)
If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to host a mead study group on Sept 10
at my house for those taking the test.
If I don't get enough people signed up for the exam by Sept 2, I'll have to
let them go.
Please pass this along to your club members, and any other local clubs that
you know of that I haven't already invited.

Subject: State Fair pre judging, and judging updates
Hello all,
Thank you for signing up to judge or steward.
We are hosting 1 pre judging session this Monday, August 13th at 6 pm. We have about 50 beers to judge so if we can get 15-20 people to help judge it will go really quick. This will be taking place at Bent Brewstillery in Roseville.
Please reply if you can make prejudging.
We are currently working on judging assignments and you can log into the site and tentatively see what you'll be judging August 17 and 18th. Please know that you may be shifted around a bit. Also please let me know if you can no longer make one of your volunteer shifts. Stewards will be updated soon, but know if you signed up to steward you are needed! If you want to judge instead that is also very helpful.
We are currently looking for at least 10 more judges, the more the better so we can reduce the amount of beers you'll be judging each session. So please bring you friends! We have a ton of raffle prizes to give away, plus summit brewery beer to drink, plus meals included, and state fair tickets!
Thank you!!
Amanda
