Unfortunately, I'll be missing the campout this year..I think I've been to
everyone since that 'hot' one down south when we visited Minnesota Malting.
So, if anyone can bring some 'Jenga' wood, I'm sure it would be appreciated.
If you don't know what it is, it started with small cutoffs from my
workshop..relatively little pieces that people can use to build a Jenga
tower inside a burning fire. Yes, it's crazy!
Thanks!

* Beers brought to the campfires by all of the attendees make it the BEST
beer bar in the 5-State area for that weekend!
* Fire Jenga may make a re-appearance (you have to see it to understand it)

Hi Al,
I'm writing on behalf of Summit Brewing Company<http://www.summitbrewing.com/> to share the latest limited release beer in the Unchained Series: Another IPA<http://www.summitbrewing.com/brews/another-ipa> (Batch 13)
As a reminder, each batch in the Unchained Series gives one of the eight brewers at Summit the opportunity to showcase their artistry. There are no budgetary constraints, no outside influences from a sales team, and the brewers are free to collect ingredients from anywhere in the world. As long as it's legal, they are given complete autonomy.
I attached a news release with more information about Another IPA. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thanks for your time, Al! Have a good Thursday,
Ryan Benson

If you are going to the Summer Beer Dabbler on July 20th, there is a Home Brew Contest for ticket holders.
Summer Beer Dabbler Home Brew Contest Information
For the past 5 years, the Beer Dabbler has been excited to provide a no-fee home brew contest to our ticket holders. Our sponsors have donated many great items as prizes which we will award for top three best in show.
We know that one of the things most difficult about entering your home brewed beer into a contest is waiting for the results. Therefore, we are going to do something a bit different with this year’s contest. A panel of experienced beer judges will review your beer and fill out score sheets for you on site during the Dabbler event.
Rules:
Only one beer entry per ticket holder.
Because of the nature of this contest, no judges will be allowed to enter their beers.
Beers must be brewed in a home setting. No commercial or brewed on-site beers allowed.
The beer must have been brewed by the person entering it. Team beers are acceptable, but the entrant must have been an active participant in the brewing process.
This contest is for beer only. No meads, ciders, or wines.
Entries must be entered online between July 1 and July 19, 2013 at midnight at thebeerdabblercontest.info/
Beers must be registered online during the listed time frame to be judged. No unregistered entries/walk-ins will be accepted.
Two bottles per entry.
Each bottle must have the printed bottle label that is generated from the entry website affixed with a rubber band. No other labels or markings are acceptable.
We prefer 12 ounce brown bottles with unmarked caps. Printed caps should be blacked out with marker.
Use the BJCP Style Guidelines to best determine which category to enter your beer. www.bjcp.org.
To keep this manageable for our judges, we are limiting the entries to 50.
Therefore, once we hit the cut off, no additional entries will be accepted.
Schedule:

I bottled some Barleywine about 6 weeks back and it still has not
carbonated. I did add some priming sugar, but have noticed there is
absolutely no yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
How can I remedy the situation. I'd hate to throw away an entire 5-gallon
batch.
Would it be appropriate to pour all the beer into a pail, add some yeast,
and then re-bottle (cleaned, msanitized, etc.)?
Obviously, I do not have a kegging system!!
Thanks in advance for all the assistance.
