Hi Michael,
What time is the tour (even approximate is fine)? I will be bringing my
two sons along and we have to pick up some beekeeping supplies in
Stillwater, so I cannot stay for too long, but would love to see the
brewery.
Thanks,
Alex Smith

Call for Judges and Stewards! www.brewerscup.org 2012
Planning is underway for the 2012 Indiana Brewers’ Cup Competition.
The Indiana State Fair Brewers Cup is one of the largest
competitions in the country with approximately 1000 professional and
amateur entries. BJCP judges, professional brewers, and BJCP apprentices
(including those who have taken the test) are welcomed and encouraged
to judge at this year’s competition. Judging will take place on Friday,
July 6th, and Saturday, July 7th, at the Marsh Blue Ribbon Pavilion * on
the Indiana State Fairgrounds. This is a BJCP-sanctioned competition,
so points will be awarded. We also pay a small stipend to offset travel
expenses to professional brewers and BJCP judges. Judges who travel at
least 50 miles one way and judge at least two sessions will receive a
$100 stipend. Local judges will be paid $12.50 per session. We provide
meals during the judging and you are welcome to stay for the Awards
Reception on Saturday evening. We are also announcing to homebrewers
that the Indiana State Fair Brewers’ Cup has been invited to participate
in the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB) as a Qualifying
Event. Consult http://masterhomebrewer.org/ for more information.
A website, www.brewerscup.org/ is available for judge/steward registration, entry submission, and details surrounding this years event.
Don't delay, proceed today to www.brewerscup.org/,
click on Register to Judge/Steward and sign up to join your fellow
judges in making this years Indiana Brewers Cup a great success!
Feel free to forward this email to other qualified BJCP judges that
may be new to the program and/or you think may be interested in the
Indiana Brewers Cup.
*Note change of venue at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The brown lab bottles are gone but there are three 6.5 gallon glass carboys available at a very reasonable cost. These are slightly smaller than the current 30-liter containers and are in great shape.
Let me know if you need a spare or three.

Brewers and Wine Makers,
I have 13 brown lab bottles removed from a defunct home winery. They clean up well and are looking for a new home. Send me an e-mail if you are interested. They include the screw-on caps. The price is right but it does not include delivery.
Sincerely,
Rick Oftel
