Hey MN Brewers,
Let's take the Road Kill bus to the Apiary for the MHBA meeting on
August 7th. This WON'T HAPPEN unless someone steps up to organize this,
so here's my proposal:
I can arrange for the bus, you just have to organize and publicize the
meeting. This is AHA Mead day, so we can get the St Paul crew involved
too if you want. There are 32 seats available on the bus - think about
no driving worries, just enjoying an afternoon of mead. We will split
the cost of the bus, so a full bus costs just $8 per person.
Who's in as our fearless leader?
Wilbur
FYI regarding the July meeting which is the regional campout.

Can anyone offer tips on getting signed up for the Surly Tour? Do I need to

Thank you,

MGBrew(a)comcast.net wanted to share this with you:
AARP is NOT just for 'senior citizens'. Some pretty good information for beer geeks, too! Nice mention of New Glarus.

Hi All,
My Name is Derek Fernholz, I am currently an extract / partial mash brewer
and am looking to set up my all-grain setup. I have it all planned out and I
thought I would get the hardest part out of the way first.
I am looking for used / decommissioned / damaged / whathaveyou 1/2 bbl (15.5
gal) kegs (3 to be exact) to convert into my HLT, MLT, and brew kettle. I
have called liquor stores, which led me to the distributors, which led me to
the breweries themselves, and to no avail. I'm looking for any and all
information on the subject of procuring kegs (legitimately) and any help is
greatly appreciated! Is this a worthwhile search?
Thank you all in advance for your time,
Derek Fernholz
