Hello--
There's no need to worry; I requested that the rain let up in time to dryly tailgate and watch baseball this coming Monday. The tailgating begins at 4:00--game at 7:00. It appears that we sold all 50 tickets again.
Amanda offered to bring a grill--thank you! Please bring some grill accessories too, Amanda. Someone else offered as well--who was it again, please?
Bring grillables and a homemade delicacy to share. The club will provide plates, condiments, tableware, and napkins.
There will be tables and chairs set up for us this year.
The club purchased a half-barrel of Flat Earth's Belgian Pale Ale (yay!), but bring some homebrew/mead/cider/etc. for when you just have to take a break from all that free, well-crafted commercial ale. :) Bring your favorite drinking vessel.
Let me know if there are any questions. Otherwise, we'll all see each other this coming Monday at Midway Stadium!

Hi Everyone!
By now you should know that we need kegs / bottles of beer supplied for both
Club Nite and the Hospitality Suite at Nationals next month.
If you will be providing one or more kegs or some bottles of beer, please
let Steve Piatz know. He's copied on this email and you do not need to let
the whole distribution list know, just Steve. For kegs, be sure to let
Steve know if you have a ball-lock or pin-lock keg. Pin-lock connections
will be limited due to equipment available. Midwest and Northern Brewer
donated 20 ball-lock lines and 2 pin-lock lines. Make sure you thank them
when you stop by next time!
To be serious for a moment, we really need to be certain that whatever is
brought is top-quality. We would really hate to do it, but we may not serve
everything delivered. Every keg will be tasted by several experienced club
members and just may not be put on tap if there are serious issues. Please
understand that this is a showcase event being held in our backyard. If
there are issues with a keg, be sure to talk with other club members and get
some feedback for improvements. I'll have a separate picnic tap available
behind the scenes, actually behind the ice house walls.
So, hopefully you've got some batches ready or close to being ready. Give
it a serious tasting and invite others to give feedback as well. That's how
we all learn and keep making better and better brews.
See ya at Nationals!
