Registration is now open for the 2010 Upper Mississippi Mashout. Entries will be accepted from December 28th and runs until January 18th. The Upper Mississippi Mash-Out is a qualifying event for the High Plains Brewer of the Year award, the Midwest Homebrewer of the Year award, and the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB) competition. BJCP Exam 12/20

There is a few spots open for taking the BJCP Exam. If you are interested, please email me by this Friday. (I have the list from Al of the people who have already signed up.) The exam is set for this Sunday, Dec 20 at 9am at the Byerly's Community Room, at the Byerly's off 36th St S and Hwy 100 in St.Louis Park. MHBA membership

We have new laminated cards for 2010 - quite distinctive with a large yellow band filled by "MHBA." If you were a 2009 member prior to mid-November, there will be a card with your name printed on it. We will be notifying the homebrew shops shortly after the New Year to please check for 2010 cards before giving the 10 percent club discount. Membership remains at $15.
