Hey Folks-
Just a little teaser for you to think about if you're on the fence
(besides the tour that is, I hope I can find all the keys I need and I
hope I don't get us all lost in the cellars...) By the way, bring your
cameras for the tour...you'll get to see a couple of the old Cyprus
fermentation tanks that were still in use not that long ago. Where else
in the US are you going to see that? But I digress...
I'm going be serving some Bier von dem Fass at the event. Let's call it
Kellerbier or Zwickel Bier, your choice...Unfiltered Pils from the Ruh
tank served gravity pour via my new super-nifty German Keg thingy do-dad.
I'll try to figure out how the heck it works before then, or maybe we'll
just roll with the punches. We'll have some Pils in a keg with some taps
and a hammer...our task will be to figure out how to get it out...
Cheers!

If you'll be in town, Beth and I will be celebrating my FIFTIETH birthday next Tuesday, July 3rd starting around 7pm by sitting in the back yard burning logs and drinking beer if anyone wants to come over. We'll have some hot turkey sandwiches and some homebrew - feel free to bring something to share and anything else you'd like to bring (like, um, BEER! :-D). We have a few chairs, but bring one of your own if you want to be sure of a place to sit. Casual, no presents necessary.

SUMMIT BREWING COMPANY LAUNCHES WEBSITE FOR THE LESSER KNOWN SOCIAL GROUPS:
And If That Didnt Get Your Attention, Nordic Battle Reenactment May
ST. PAUL, Minn. (June 22, 2007) Summit Brewing introduces thesocialelement.com, a highly entertaining video-driven website that shows off the mad skills of the adventurous, outrageous, exciting, fun and obscure groups you thought may exist, but were afraid to ask.
Thesocialelement.com is a web-based community project focused on the kinds of outside-the-box activities seen on the streets of Saint Paul, Minneapolis and beyond. Theyre the activities that make you say, Say What? Its the double-tall bike makers and riders, nordic battle reenactment warriors, and the Lake Superior surfers who make thesocialelement.com what it is a community of groups that share the common bond of passion for activities one wouldnt ordinarily see or do. These are groups that are a force unto their own and are brought together at thesocialelement.com.
Watch for more content to come every week and follow the blog to know what is going on. Know of other group of interest or want to make your own beer movie? Pass it on to the social element.
