Just a FYI. Wind River just got in a fresh supply of Honey Malt. Scott indicated they are more than happy to order other specialty grains as long as we purchase a significant portion - say 20 or more pounds from a bag.
Anyone interested in working with Wind River for a one time fall grain buy?

Congratulations to KRIS ENGLAND for his Smoked Dunkel! Kris' beer will be representing the MhBA in the AHA National Club-Only competition for Smoked/Wood-Aged beer competition. Also thanks to Jonathan Crist, Paul Dienhart, Steve Piatz, (and myself! ;-D) for entering and helping to judge the competition. A good time was had by all!
The next AHA Club-Only competition will be BJCP Category 14 - INDIA PALE ALE, including English IPA, American IPA, and Imperial IPA. We will pick our club winner at my place on Tuesday, October 26. GENTLEMEN (and Women!), Please Start Your Burners!!!!!

When heading north on Woodland Trail from Wescott
toward our house, Arbor Court is a cul-de-sac on the

Road (Dakota County 26) and MN Highway 55 is currently
closed and may still be closed on the 9th. If you plan
to take that mile of Lexington use the posted detour or
look at the map for alternatives.
