I wanted you all to know so that you can begin making your homebrew so it's ready in time for the event. Here are the chosen categories for this event: 1) 1D: Munich Helles 2) 1E: Dortmunder Export 3) 2A: German Pilsner (Pils) 4) 2B: Bohemian Pilsner 5) 3A: Vienna Lager 6) 3B: Oktoberfest/Marzen 7) 4B: Munich Dunkel 8) 4C: Schwarzbier 9) 5B: Traditional Bock 10) 5C: Doppplebock 11) 5D: Eisbock 12) 6C: Kolsch 13) 7C: Dusseldorf Altbier 14) 15A: Weizen/ Weissbier 15) 15B: Dunkelweizen 16) 15C: Weizenbock 17) 15D: Roggenbier (German Rye) 18) 17A: Berliner Weisse 19) 22A: Classic Rauchbier This will be a BJCP/AHA sanctioned competition so feel free to pass this along to any other groups or brewers who might not be accessible via our email system.
