I used this water when I first started brewing. It wasn't bad, but
I wanted a source that was more reliable in it's content. You have
to consider the quality of the spring water is greatly effected by
the rainfalls and does happen to have a rather large landfill not
too far uphill from where the tap is. Not to mention it sucks
standing outside in -10 weather to fill 9 gallons.

I don't know the analysis of the water but I've used water
from this source exclusively over the past 2-3 years. I'd love
to see the results if a test is ever performed on it... at least
pH wise..
The people you meet down there is quite eclectic as well...

I used it a few years ago and thought it had a metallic
taste. Switched to using a whole house filter with Eden

Dipak - is this the water we were discussing?
If so, I have a lab analysis of this water. If interested,
email me directly.

Has anyone ever used the water from the
Frederick Miller spring? It is an artesian
well in Eden Prairie. I saw it on Kare11
last night. I am just wondering to know the
quality of the water for brewing at home.
My water at home is so hard, I always need
to add distilled to soften it up
Thanks
