Good Day All,
I wanted to let you know that there will be a homebrew competition this September for an
Oktoberfest event being held in Woodbury.
I wanted you all to know so that you can begin making your homebrew so it's ready in
time for the event.
Here are the chosen categories for this event:
1) 1D: Munich Helles
2) 1E: Dortmunder Export
3) 2A: German Pilsner (Pils)
4) 2B: Bohemian Pilsner
5) 3A: Vienna Lager
6) 3B: Oktoberfest/Marzen
7) 4B: Munich Dunkel
8) 4C: Schwarzbier
9) 5B: Traditional Bock
10) 5C: Doppplebock
11) 5D: Eisbock
12) 6C: Kolsch
13) 7C: Dusseldorf Altbier
14) 15A: Weizen/ Weissbier
15) 15B: Dunkelweizen
16) 15C: Weizenbock
17) 15D: Roggenbier (German Rye)
18) 17A: Berliner Weisse
19) 22A: Classic Rauchbier
This will be a BJCP/AHA sanctioned competition so feel free to pass this along to any
other groups or brewers
who might not be accessible via our email system.
Judging will be on September 21 and entries will not be accepted after September 14th.
