Hello Friends and Family!

Benn Endsley, (our brewing mentor), has organized a demolition "party" for this Saturday, 2/2, at 9am or any time thereafter.
The goal is to remove the rafters, the remaining floor joists, and the debris from the "SE Wing" of the historic, pre-statehood brewery formerly known as "Strunk Brewery", "Strunk-Nyssen Brewery", and "Shakopee Brewery".We'll be salvaging lumber as much as possible, burning the non-salvageable wood, recycling metal scrap, and saving any remaining artifacts. This will allow us to continue repairing the stone walls as soon as spring arrives, (scaffolding is already up). We hope to have "The Wing" dried in by end of summer so we can start brewing in there. (Community brewing whenever someone "twists" our arms a little...)
We will be having beer and brats of course. And there will be a HUGE bonfire that will warm the northern part of Scott County...
Someone will undoubtedly be keeping the sound system humming while we do this 'til ?!?
Signed liability waivers will be required for anyone entering the brewery, (YES, it's dangerous!!) but everyone who signs gets a tour of the underground lagering rooms/caverns.
Please bring extra hardhats if you have 'em.
And any home brews you care to share.
