Hey Jabbers, this Friday Mackenzie's is holding a stout tap takeover to celebrate the longest night. They will have Darkness and a slew of other Imperials. Sj and I are going, anyone else want in? We might also grab dinner down at Town Hall...

Subject: [mba] custom chalkboard signs for home brewers - ArtFX Design
Studios
My name is Bob Gregory and I own ArtFX Design Studios. We are a commercial
art studio that specializes in custom cut, hand illustrated, chalkboard
signs and menu boards, mainly for restaurants, delis & cafes, however we
have created a number of chalkboard signs and menus for barber shops, bike
shops, various retail business and corporate events.
Recently I have received a few requests for custom menu boards for home
brewers and man caves. I'm beginning to see that what we do is a great match
for home brewers, creating custom craft beer menu boards that bring an
artistic flare to a man cave or home bar. I have attached an example of one
of our custom man cave sign. Additional examples of custom chalkboards can
be found on our website - www.artfxdesignstudios.com.
I'm emailing you to make you aware of what we do and hopefully you will find
what we do interesting enough to blog about our custom chalkboard menu signs
to fellow home brewers. If you do, please provide a link back to our
website.
Thank you for your time. Feel free to email me with any feedback.
Sincerely,
Bob Gregory

Hey all, just a quick reminder!
Holiday party! Our usual December meeting time of Dec 14 starting around 6:30 is our holiday party at my house 1966 Fountain Lane in Waconia. We will have a brief talk on home wine making by Jim T. with tastings. This party is spouse friendly and we encourage having them come to meet the club and hang out with us. We usually do this as a pot luck, so bring something edible to share!
We also have a gift exchange each year at this meeting. If you want to take part then bring a wrapped or bagged beer-related present (one for spouses as well if they want in on the action.) We encourage beers (a bomber of something more rare or fancy; a six pack of something unusual or a mixed pack of something; a 12 pack seasonal sampler of craft beer, something cool from your cellar,) basically something you would be psyched to get. We do the exchange blind, like a white elephant, except you actually want to keep these gifts! Basic cost between $15-20 or so. Not homebrews! We will do a homebrew exchange later this coming year.
See you all there!

Subject: Maroon and Bold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey gang,
What's all this jibber-jabber!? Two emails in one week?? Absolutely. It's a
pretty important week! To the details...
Maroon and Bold: An Infuriatingly Passive-Aggressive ale. You heard that
right!. We'll be releasing the very first commercially available Imperial
Red IPA made entirely from Minnesota ingredients on Saturday, Dec 8th, at
the brewery. 7.5%. 90 BUs. Entirely Minnesotan. $8/ 750ml or 2 fer $15.
For you hop heads and locavores, come and get you some as the supply is
limited so when it's gone, it's gone!
Saturday noon. At the brewery. 100% Minnesota big red IPA! Stay tuned for
Kristen's massively loquacious blog post on the concept and making of...
We'd also like to announce the winners for the naming contest of this beer.
It was a combination of ideas from Adam Overland and The Pete.
Cheers guys, we've got a bottle with your name on it!
Cheers
The PDBC Gang
