Right up your alley ... so to speak... you're club should have fun with this. The jokes are endless.
The European Union (EU) has granted a permit to an Austrian brewery to officiallyname their beer: Fucking Hell.
It's a fully legitimate permit.
"Hell" in German means "Light" and the beer is produced in the Austrian town of Fucking .
A MUST destination in Europe
The newspaper article below is even funnier than the sign!
Are the residents called Fuckers?
And what about the Fucking neighborhood?
What are the mothers called?
What would you be learning at the Fucking High School ?
Where is the Fucking Post Office?
Does the Fucking Hospital help you with anything else?
And the Fucking drivers!
If your friend came from another town, he wouldn't be your Fucking friend.
Is fishing allowed in the Fucking Lake ?
We had a wonderful time at Fucking.
We stayed in a Fucking chalet!
Fucking needs government funding.
Does anyone care about Fucking?
I didn't believe this was true .. So did an Internet search. It's TRUE!!! Here's more pictures and info ..
Now, this one is really good! The sign says 'Bitte! Nicht so schnell', which in English translates to 'Please! Not so fast!
More tidbits, and it gets even funnier! .... Pronounced 'fooking'. The little hamlet of Fucking is named after the man who founded the village in the 6th century. His name? Focko.

Some more info for anyone in Eden Prairie.
I asked for those levels because BeerSmith uses them in its calculations.

Michael,
We currently do not test for the following elements you listed. It is not
required by the Minnesota Department of Health and we do not have the proper
equipment to run those analysis. However, if you are interested in getting
those results you could bring a sample of your water to Tri-City Laboratory
in Bloomington and they can run those tests for you. They are a reputable
lab and have reasonable prices. Hope this helps.

Could you please send me a copy of the most recent report on the drinking
water in Eden Prairie? I'm interested in mineral content as I'm a
homebrewer and use tap water for brewing.
Thanks!

FYI
Check the different donation levels. If they reach their goal, then they
charge you and you get the item listed at that level. For example, $155
gets you the 5 gallon mash tun.
Note that I'm not endorsing them, don't know if I'll offer a donation...just
passing on info.

Even if you can only stop by for a short amount of time - all help is greatly appreciated! 2000 bottles may sound like a lot, but it does go quicker than you'd think.

> Also, I'm looking for volunteers to pick up the entries that were dropped off at both Northern Brewer retail locations (Minneapolis & St. Paul) and Midwest Supplies (St. Louis Park). Generally there's 5-10 cases worth of entries at both locations - most of the time I can fit them all in my Corolla with room to spare. Just pick them up on your way to the NB warehouse on Saturday!

> And another also, we need empty 24-pack cases and 6-pack holders to hold these bottles. If you know of a good source for them, or have a bunch, let me know so I can get a count. Bring them to the sort with you, and if you can't make it to the sort, we can make some arrangements for them to be picked up. With 2000 bottles we need at least 85 cases but I'd much rather have too many than not enough!
