I am new to your mailing list. I am interested in joining your club, but I
am not sure and how to join up or who to contact. I have 15+ years of
brewing experience and I do all-grain. I also make mead and cider.
Thanks
Erik Nelson

person to respond takes it.
If you are trying to IMPROVE your score, cost is $15. If you are a
first-time taker, you need to bring your certificate of passing for the
online exam, and $40.
Let me know!

Hmm, you might be correct. Let's see how many people bring appropriate beers and decide then. I've got two!

Sent from Yahoo! Mail for iPhone
Hey all!
Sorry there was no Jabber this past month, that is my fault entirely. Tim was busy and I dropped the ball, so Next month!
Next meeting is this Friday at my house: 1966 Fountain Lane, Waconia around 6:30. Open mash paddle this month, so bring your homebrews to try out! Gera should be giving a quick talk about BJCP judging, so make sure to be polite and stay quiet during her presentation!
Upcoming stuff:
May meeting is our Belgian Brew Off. There is still time to brew a belgian for this if you hurry (I need to keg up a couple...)
The JAB facebook Group is up and running--If you haven't been invited to it yet, shoot me a facebook message or post on the JAB regular facebook site and I'll get it to you.
Shirts are ordered and should arrive soon. If you haven't paid up yet, make sure to bring money or checks to pay the piper (or Steven.)
I believe we are scheduled with Excelsior for a Big Brew Day event, details to follow.
Our first wine barrel brew is percolating in it's new wine barrel home. If you want to be involved in populating the next brew for it, send me an e-mail or post on the facebook group and we'll make sure you get a chance at it. We are leaning toward doing a lambic...
See you all soon,
--Eric

> Monday, June 10th, the MN Homebrewers Association will once again stake a claim to tailgating spot #5 in Midway Stadium's parking lot for grilling, chilling, and swilling from 4:00 until 11:00. At 7:00, some attendees might even take their tickets and enter the stadium to harass the players from Fargo-Moorhead, harass the mascot, and harass each other. At least twice in years past we've had club members on the field for between-inning nonsense--some as cross-dressers, some with root beer as shampoo!
>
> There will be tables and chairs provided by the club. I'll need two volunteers (or just Bob Norman, with his TEXAS-SIZED CONTRAPTION!) to bring grills. You'll bring meat and some food to share (and homebrew, of course). The club will provide napkins, plasticware, and condiments.
>
> Tickets are $12 each, and children aged three and over should have one. The first order of business is to e-mail me to let me know that you're claiming a certain number of tickets. Then please pay via Paypal on the club's website, or send a check, PAYABLE to MHBA, to
